Berlin - 18.30 Uhr
Jetzt ist es tatsächlich so weit, ich sitze im Flieger nach Amsterdam. Der 2. Dezember, der immer ewig entfernt schien, ist doch schneller gekommen als gedacht.
Die Reise kann beginnen: Amsterdam und dann direkt nach Buenos Aires!
Danke für die ganzen lieben Reisewünsche (und vor allem schnellen Rückreisewünschen), kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten und Liebe und Herzlichkeit. Ich verspreche, dass ich Ende Januar ganz erholt, energiegeladen und glücklich wieder auf der Matte stehen werde ♥

It is hard to believe, but today really is the day that I'll start my trip to the other end of the ocean. I am sitting in the plane to Amsterdam and feel like Dec 2nd has come much faster than expected.
Let the fun begin: First short stop in the Netherlands and then off straight to BA!

Amsterdam - 20.00 Uhr
Der erste Teil wäre geschafft, pünktlich gelandet und natürlich das allerletzte Gate im Terminal erwischt. Ich denke jedoch, dass ich diese Extrabewegung nach ein paar Stunden Flug zu schätzen wissen werde...

So far so good, I arrived in Amsterdam on time and of course managed to fly from a gate that's located at the very end of the terminal. However, I am sure I will be grateful for the extra exercise I got here once I sat in the plane for a few hours...
Buenos Aires - 9.00 Uhr (13.00 CET)
Sonnenschein, nette Argentinier und eine atemberaubende Stadt: Ich hab es geschafft! Ohne direkten Plan für den Transport von Flughafen zum Hostel und ohne Pesos ist Menschen kennenlernen die Devise. Schnell waren 4 Leute zusammen (glücklicherweise auch ein Local) und die nette Taxifahrt ins City Center begann. Was ich bis jetzt mitgenommen hab? Die Argentinier sind so herzlich!
Der erste Spanischtest kam dann ziemlich schnell, als ich das tolle Angebot kostenlos mit dem Fahrrad in der City umherzufahren nutzen wollte... letztendlich hat mir etwas Spanisch und Google Translator ein hübsches knallgrünes Fahrrad beschafft. Die meisten Straßen haben tatsächlich gekennzeichnete Fahrradwege und somit macht es die ganze Angelegenheit gar nicht so gefährlich wie es sich anhört. Im Vergleich zu Berlin sind die Menschen hier weniger gestresst und ein Busfahrer wartet schon mal bis der Fußgänger bei Rot gemütlich über die Straße gelaufen ist. Also auf ins Chaos.

Sunshine, friendly Argentines and a fascinating city - I made it! Not having planned my trip from the airport to the city and not possessing any Pesos upon arrival the only option was to meet nice people and hope that they know where to go. That was quite easy, by the time I had my luggage there were four of us (fortunately one local as well) taking a cab to the city center.
The first Spanish test was due when I decided to make use of the free bike service in the city center. Eventually, un poco de español and google translator helped getting me this super green bike. There are many bike lanes around. This makes it all less dangerous than it might sound like in the first place. Off into the chaos I go!
